Most frequent questions and answers
The pain is different for each person, however, there are still some parts of the body that are more sensitive- like the parts closest to our vital organs. Other contributing factors to the levels of pain are The style of the tattoo, the technique of the artist, and the duration of the session, as well as how you get prepared before the session.
Do not drink alcohol or smoke weed on the day of the session. Try to get 8 hours of sleep the night before. Have yourself a nice breakfast, drink lots of water. In case you will be a few hours under the needle- bring yourself a sandwich and a fruit. If you are particularly sensitive, you can take a pain killer with your meal.
Every artist has a different perspective about this part, so the best thing to do is to ask your artist how to take care of your new tattoo and be completely sure you understand what to do. Make sure you also get it written down.
For a big project like a full sleeve or a back piece, the perfect time for you to get tattooed will be at the beginning of the winter. In wintertime, you don’t sweat a lot like in the summer. The air is much cleaner and most importantly– there is less sun to damage your skin. There is a bacteria called ‘macrophage’ – the moment it recognizes a strange part inside your skin it begins to “eat” at it, and that’s what also makes the tattoo look ‘old’. After your tattoo is completely healed you have to know in advance that the sun is the main cause for tattoo fade. The second one is bacteria called ‘macrophage’ – at the first moment they recognized a strange part inside our skin they start to eat it and that’s whats also make the tattoo look ‘old’… this is super important to use sunscreen cream in case you know your tattoo will expose to the sun more than 1-2 hours… if you can cover it with a cloth it would be much better!
– Give your artist the chance to do their best by putting their style into the tattoo design.
– Follow the tattoo after-care instructions your tattoo artist provided you with.
– Do NOT expose your skin to the sun in any case during the healing process of a tattoo. In addition, apply a bit of body lotion twice a day on your skin until your next tattoo session.
– The price is different from one artist to another. The hourly rate or minimum price depends on the reputation and the quality of work they provide. Many parameters can affect the number of hours the artist will work, such as details, size, colors, and so on.
– When you’re interested in getting a tattoo smaller than a cellphone size, it will be more relevant for you to check what the minimum price is.
– The question to ask on a big project is what the hourly rate will be, and what the average time it usually takes to complete a full sleeve for example.
If you think your tattoo is infected you should go immediately to your artist or at least let them know by message with a clear photo of the tattoo. If you are feeling great pain go immediately to the doctor!
• When your tattoo is healing you should never touch your skin for any reason other than applying tattoo balm. Touching it will increase the chances of infection.
-The IDEA and style are the first things to discuss (for example a colorful flower in Japanese style or a black geometrical dot work). Bring references with you so it will be easier for the artist to understand your vision. Check our app for inspiration with an amazing filter. Be open-minded with your tattoo artist’s opinion, if you chose him it means you need to trust him. *Great works take time and also cost more. If it took more time than you thought, probably there is a good reason for it. Save money for the tattoo before you start a project*

Don’t be shy and find yourself in a comfortable position while you get the tattoo… you gonna sit for few hours! Don’t move at all and avoid any distractions.
